Poetry is a bit harder than I remember! I haven’t written a poem for quite some time, and so today I had a little bit of inspiration for one. But as Edison said, ‘Success is 1% inspiration, 99% Perspiration’

The path may not be always be clear
From the moment we get here to the moment we go

You are lucky, because you get to steer
You are the one to run your own show

Trials of life can be avoided by few
Always take heed, and make sure to learn

People are cashing in all around you
Don’t you think it’s your turn?

It’s not quite in the form of a Shakespearean Sonnet, but there is my poem. Of course I’d love to see yours entered into our Poetry Contest.
