Subscribe to Aridni A Saturday Strategist Reflects: To make money while you sleep

I told Aridni that I didn’t know anything about getting wealthy. I didn’t know anything about money and finance and that stuff. They said that I did. I started writing article ideas over and over for today’s Aridni guest article, and that’s when I realized that maybe I do know something about money–that we all do. It’s all a matter of if we take time to recognize our money status and direction. And if we take time to keep learning more.

I set a goal for myself: I will make money while I sleep.

Not sure how to fully achieve this goal. I’m not good at the stock market. So I admit that, and I start researching. Some ways to make money while you sleep:

-Commissions
-Home ownership of an appreciating property
-Network marketing
-Royalties
-Marketing consulting or something where you get a percent of the revenues that come later

I commute to work every day and it drives me insane. When you work for someone else, you are only making money when you’re at work. You stop working at the end of the day, and you stop making money. I think that idea is silly. I’m tired of doing it. Almost everyone in America does it. Why do we do this? Well it’s easier. It’s less risk. And you know what? It’s stupid. Make money while you sleep. Now we’re talking. Then hire other people to work 9 to 5. Their work gives them a set pay. Everything above that is profit for your pocket.

Our guest writer this week is Alex the Great. Well Alex admits to not being great quite yet… but Alex is working toward greatness. Add Aridni to your resume, Alex! And if you know anyone who might be interested in writing for Aridni’s Saturday Strategy column, let us know.

Subscribe to Aridni Run your own MLM or Multi Level Mistake

I’m sure you have heard of Multi-Level-Marketing before, heck if you read Aridni just yesterday there was an article supporting it. Today’s article is not going to be quite as affirmative.

If I were to start up one of these companies, for the example we’ll call it “Todd’s super-cool MLM company” the first step I would take would be to find some product to sell. Okay how about we sell lemonade and lemonade accessories.

I’ll get my catalog all set up and good to go with all kinds of exotic lemons, juicers, squeezers, mixers, pitchers, and those big wooden spoons. Now it’s time to take TSCMC out to make some money.

I go around to some houses selling overpriced lemonade and find out one big thing. It’s only a matter of time before I discover that selling things is hard work and not very much fun.

My next step is to get an army of cronies to go door to door. I’ll sit at home watching movies while they fill the streets selling my lemonade and lemonade accessories. Now for every piece they sell we both make money.

We all want to find meaningful ways to achieve financial freedom outside the traditional 9-5 timetable. Network marketing is a perfect way to realize this goal because it enables you to be a self employed business owner while retaining many of the perks of working for a company.

For starters, your product and all the advertising/marketing has already been designed for you. Whether you are selling Mary Kay, Avon, Tupperware, Amway, or Xango you don’t have to put any time or effort into manufacturing a marketable product. All you need to do is sell the product and get others to sign up to sell it under you. Then, you earn commission or residual income from the sales of people in your down line. No, I am not talking about a pyramid scheme where one has to put up thousands of dollars upfront to get into a company and where lots of people have lost a lot of money in the process. Network marketing is NOT a scam. In as little as a few years, people go on to make millions. The best part is that those who succeed can “retire” in a few years and are taken care of for life. Better than the 30 year plan, isn’t it? (Continue reading this article…)

Subscribe to Aridni Make your success move! Get from the polls to the ballot

In 1920, an American woman was considered ambitious if she cast her vote on Election Day. Now women’s voices can go beyond the polls to actually having a say about who gets on the ballot in the first place. That’s because of women’s increased entrepreneurial success in the private sector which contributes the majority of funds for political campaigns.

According to Millionaire Women, Inc.,women are starting new businesses at twice the rate of men“! (7). Furthermore, “the number of women who are now building businesses has increased two-and-a-half times faster than all U.S. businesses, and female investors are the newest market for brockerage firms to pursue” (8). Now, more than ever, successful women are able to make sizeable campaign contributions to candidates who speak to women’s issues instead of hoping their husbands will support the interests that matter to them.

How can you join this growing crowd of female entrepreneurs? Millionaire Women says that information and inspiration are the two prerequisities to realizing wealth (6). In interviews with female Presidents and CEOs, including Hewlett-Packard Chairman and CEO Carly Fiorina and Avon Chairman and CEO Andrea Jung (8), Millionaire Women discovered that there are three secrets to success.

The first secret is: (Continue reading this article…)

Subscribe to Aridni Marketing with MySpace

I’m sure you have heard of the website MySpace before. It’s been in the news so often recently that there is pretty hard to miss. There is also Facebook for college kids, and MySpace’s forerunner Friendster.

These three websites are social networking sites that allow you to say ‘these 917,234 people are my friends’ regardless of if you know them in person or not. These people that are listed as your friend will all view your profile at least once. Then some of their friends will visit your profile and want to join your network.

The number of people you are connected to, or ‘friends with’ will grow exponentially after setting up a good seed amount and getting your profile seen.
