Subscribe to Aridni Why a homeless person can make more money than you on the internet

Thanks to technology more homeless people are getting online. And not only that, but they are making money. People who have lost everything have nothing to lose. Therefore they are not afraid to take risks.

Terri Hellerich began an online business and quickly made $100 while sleeping on benches and under bridges. This small amount was enough to get Terri’s life back on track. Now she is living in a small apartment in Northern California.

Now that some homeless shelters have computers as well as most libraries, using free services on the nonbiased internet everyone is equal.

Anyone can make money online, so get out there and do it!

Subscribe to Aridni All Roads Lead to Buffalo

Here on Aridni, I often talk about dreams and ideas. As everyone knows, unless you put them to use they will accomplish nothing.

The last thing that I want to do is be all talk and no results. That is why I am driving across the county over to Buffalo New York. I have a friend who lives over there.

The two of us will be spending the summer working on a couple of projects and business ideas. All of them are of varying difficulty and not necessarily closely related.

I will be returning to Montana this fall, hopefully we will have accomplished something noteworthy by then. If we don’t reach our dreams that’s to bad, but we’ll be able to say that we went out and tried.

If we can establish anything successful, that money will be gravy to help build my wealth.

I am getting out of the sheltered world of Montana and into the world of real business. I’m off to put everything to the test. Take every idea, value, and philosophy I’ve posted on Aridni (and some I have not yet written about) and apply that in the ever changing world of business.

With that, open road here I come!

Subscribe to Aridni Two plus two can equal five if you let it

When you work on a project for an hour lets say you can produce one unit of work In the same amount of time your friend Wanda can produce 1.1 units of work and John can produce .9 units of work.

If working alone you can produce three units in on hour, then working together you could hypothetically be able to complete three and a half or four units.

This is all dependent on how well your coworkers know each other, their individual personalities, and views toward each other. If the balance here is not there it is easy to go flying off the wrong direction and only produce a fraction of the amount.

You need everyone to keep the other members in check and accountable. They should be able to rely on each other to stay motivated. If Wanda and John are working hard on the project, I don’t want to fall behind or look like a slacker, so I’ll work hard on the project.

People will get tired eventually or overly social so it’s not quite a perpetual motion machine, but it’s the closest the business world can get to it.

Creating something greater than the total of all it’s members is also the goal of Tribe Wanted. 5,000 people are being brought together 100 at a time to live on an island and attempt to create a better economy in Fiji.

So as I have pointed out, and tribewanted is off to prove, 2+2=5 for extreme values of 2

Subscribe to Aridni Learn to make money by emulating people who make money

Right now I am in the middle of the desert in sunny California. I have been down here for a couple of days to help my aunt and uncle with their webpage. In return they are showing me some of the methods that they have used to make it profitable.

It really is amazing when you see people accomplishing something that you have only heard about through the grapevines, but never actually had any actual proof of. Right now their site contains over 3,000 pages of content and they plan to double it within the year.

Subscribe to Aridni The jig is up…. Or is it?

For quite a while I have lived with some sort of ‘mental block’ that prevented me from cashing in. It’s something completely bogus and has no legitimate foundation whatsoever. It evolves around competition. I had some assumption that if people knew I was making money doing something they would start doing the same thing and put me out of business.

While that fear may or may not have been legit, it has eroded the belief that I was working on a ‘million dollar idea.’ Who knows if any of them would have turned out a million dollars or not, but the point is that I assumed they would lose profitability and be crushed as other people leap-frogged off my revenue model.

I have a couple points to say to you and my former self.

Subscribe to Aridni Don’t be your own boss. Be your own shareholder.

When I think starting my own business I think of setting it up, getting some people to work there, and going off to do something else. However, many businesses don’t operate that way. The owner will start the business, be it a shop or a restaurant or whatever the operation entails and work like a dog everyday.

Sure you could do the work yourself and do a great job at it, but you could also higher a floor manager to order inventory, take care of customers, and handle all the problems. Of course you would still have things to check up on and orders such as finances to deal with.

The way I see it, the sooner you can get good people working on your projects, the less you have to worry about them. If you can run a business without running the business yourself, you are only a little ways away from opening up a second income producing shop.

Then you open up a third and your empire is well on it’s way!
