Subscribe to Aridni Learn to make money by emulating people who make money

Right now I am in the middle of the desert in sunny California. I have been down here for a couple of days to help my aunt and uncle with their webpage. In return they are showing me some of the methods that they have used to make it profitable.

It really is amazing when you see people accomplishing something that you have only heard about through the grapevines, but never actually had any actual proof of. Right now their site contains over 3,000 pages of content and they plan to double it within the year.

They used to have an actual ‘brick and mortar’ business. Then they started the website for fun, not a whole lot of it being for the business. Before long it began to supplement the store by making a little bit of a return. Through tweaking the pages, they were eventually making enough through the site that they could sell the store completely and rely on the website.

Now it supports their entire four person family, and they hire people to put the content together, and here’s the kicker they don’t sell anything. Unless you count add space that is.

So my post here is basically an affirmation. Yes, it is possible to make money on the internet. And YES you can do it too!

    Totally cool!

I’m reminded of those women’s magazines that show people who shrunk 12 pants sizes. Who believes that cabbage soup diet stuff? …until you see someone with your own eyes doing it, not someone who walked through photoshop.

What a success story. I would be interested to know what website they run. I am not only blogging now but looking into launching some internet sites. Ideas abound but getting them to work and make a profit is the trick. Just starting is the first step and then learning through trial and error. Isn’t that how we all learn? I know I do.

I had to check with the owners to make sure it was okay to post links, but the site is http://animal-world.com

In particular I did some work on their forums, getting the template to fit the brand image and restructuring it.

    Check it out at http://animal-world.com/phpBB2

Next I’m working on getting a news feed going for them.
